Wat Arun or The temple of Dawn is a Buddhist Temple in Bangkok, Thailand. This is in the shape of a pyramid-like spire, the temple is easily recognizable from a distance and is a magnificent sight both at dusk and night.
The temple of Wat Arun has existed since at least the 17th century,also under various other aliases. The temple of Dawn or Wat Arun tower 260ft (79m) above the Chao Phraya river with a fabulous view of the rising and setting sun and of the cities.
